With the goal of reusing some of the same colors as the Marrakesh / Scrap Quilts, the initial colors of yellow, cinnamon, and jade served as a foundation for the composition. However, some of the fluorescent peach and plum colors from the previous quilts were replaced by muted pinks and purples here. The overall effect is reminiscent of popular 80's color trends, and the triangular elements combined with some of the rectangles of yellow and blue bring to mind tents on a lake, enjoying the sunset.
